The International Policy Governance® Association (IPGA) is an independent, charitable organization formed in 1999 and incorporated in 2001 in order to create a forum for the nurturing of responsible governance and of effective, ethical governance consulting. The Association intends to impact the understanding, use and teaching of the Policy Governance system and welcomes into membership boards using Policy Governance, as well as individuals or organizations who use or teach Policy Governance or are interested in supporting IPGA and its purpose. IPGA is incorporated in the state of New York as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
